Every wedding has it’s challenges. On what was ’supposed’ to be a summers day in Cape Town, ended up being one of the stormiest days of the year! It bucketed down all day at Erinvale Estate, the wind blew in every direction and between my assistant and I we held onto the umbrella and camera equipment, while trying to find suitable spots to take photo’s without Natalie and Christ getting totally soaked! Natalie and Chris and all their guests had flown in from the UK to have the wedding in South Africa. For most of them, including the bridal couple, it was their first visit to SA. There was a bit of disappointment to start with, but then everyone accepted that unfortunately perfect weather can not be ordered and the best thing to do was to get on and just enjoy the day! Noreen from Timeless Weddings, did an amazing job organising the wedding.
Natalie and Chris – I know your heart was set on a sunny day! You both looked amazing and I appreciate you keeping your spirits up for the photo’s. I hope your photo’s will be a reminder of your special day spent with family and friends and that you can look beyond the rain at the beauty of South Africa and visit again.
