Jess and Neil at Allee Bleue, Franschhoek

Every time I  photograph a wedding, I love to get to the nitty gritty of how the bride met her groom.  In this chaotic world of billions of people, the fact that two people can ‘find’ each other and connect on such an amazing level,  is just beautiful.  Jess left the UK on a whim over a year ago to spend some time in Cape Town.  Not knowing anyone, she phoned a local church to request a pick-up on her first Sunday, and Neil arrived!   They both flew to London 3 months later where Neil proposed….and the rest is history!

Their wedding took place at the elegant Alee Bleue in Franschhoek.

Lisa & Rob at Webersburg, Stellenbosch

This was such an awesome wedding!  Held at stunning Webersburg in Stellenbosch and partly organised by The Aleit Group , Lisa and Rob were set to have an incredibly amazing day.  I always get excited when it’s overcast at a wedding – it’s like shooting with my very own softbox – the light is soft and the sky often dramatic.  Lisa was such a cool bride – I felt like I was attending a friends wedding!  The music was fantastic – DJ’s Andre and Daryn from Goodtimes DJ’s kept everyone on the dance floor the entire night.  Oh, and I have to mention the cupcakes…they were sent from heaven!

Jared and Tracy at Rockhaven, Elgin

The moment I met Tracy, I thought ‘What a stunning person’. She was warm and kind and so full of calm energy – talking about her wedding day made her whole face light up. I just knew we’d have fun on the day.  Tracy and Jared got married at the stunning Rockhaven Farm in Elgin. The wedding was meticulously organised by Wedding Concepts and the whole day just flowed. We took a drive to the entrance of the farm and had some fun among the apple crates.

Anna & Jonno at Clouds Estate, Stellenbosch

I met Anna and Jonno in London last year during the summer.  They were both so excited about getting married at Clouds Estate in South Africa, especially since the wedding was going to be so intimate, with just close family and friends.  The high-light of the wedding was when the Itheko African dancers appeared to the beat of the drums, to the delight of all the guests.
