Chrizenda (known to her friends as Koena) and Gunter got married in Witsand where Koena grew up. The high light of the day, was having Koena arrive in a shocking pink Cadillac – and then getting to use the Cadillac for some creative shots!

Lauren & John – Sunset Beach, Cape Town
Saturday, October 25th, 2008I caught up with Lauren and John for their engagement shoot at Sunset Beach in Blouberg. It was such a windy day, the sand was flying off the beach in every direction and stinging the 3 of us. We ended up having such a laugh despite the weather, and it’s the quickest engagement shoot i’ve ever done – all of 20min!
Elzanne & MJ’s Wedding, Vrede-en-Lust, Franschhoek
Saturday, October 18th, 2008Vrede-en-Lust is one of the many beautiful wine estates in the Franschhoek area, and I love shooting weddings there. The day I photographed Elzanne & MJ’s wedding was also my birthday – and since I never think of shooting as work, I was so excited to be doing what I absolutely love on this double celebration of a day. Elzanne & MJ are both doctors, so as you can imagine, a huge part of the wedding party were doctors too! Flowers In The Foyer did the most stunning flowers and decor – black and white Baroque theme which was elegant, fresh and classy. Elzanne & MJ, thanks for being so laid back on your wedding day and incredibly awesome to photograph!
