Bio
Monica Dart is a South African
Photographic artist who graduated
from Richmond College in the UK.
Monica's photography career began
in the UK whilst working in the music
industry photographing bands such
as 'Hothouse Flowers' and 'Blondie',
and musicians 'Steve Winwood',
'Sam Browne' and 'Stefan Redtenbacher'.
Her photographs have been used on CD's by 'Hothouse Flowers' lead singer Liam O'Maonlai's CD, “RIAN” as well as Stefan Redtenbacher's CD, “FUNK ORCHESTRA”.
A series of her personal work titled “Fleeting Childhood” has been exhibited in the UK, France
and South Africa.
She is a Fuji Film 2006 and 2007 Award Winner.
She was previously commisioned by the WCRP "World Conference of Religions for Peace" in Kyoto, Japan to document the 10 day gathering of religious leaders from around the world.
She has photographed for both 'Discovery Magazine' and 'Runner's World'. |
